Cataio Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the website cataio.com ("Cataio" or "the Service") you fully accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

Cataio is a platform that offers:

• Cataio Travel: search for travel packages (flight + hotel + AI-generated itineraries).
• Cataio Events: aggregator of local Italian events.
• Cataio Community: discussion forum about travel and destinations.
• Cataio for Organizers: dashboard reserved for approved event organizers, allowing them to connect their official TikTok account and auto-publish carousels of their events through the official TikTok Content Posting API.

3. Organizer account and TikTok integration

The "For organizers" section (cataio.com/organizzatori) is reserved for event organizers (promoters, agencies, cities, associations) who, after request and approval from Cataio, receive access to a dedicated dashboard.

From that dashboard the organizer can connect their TikTok account through official OAuth, authorizing the scopes user.info.basic, video.upload, video.publish. Cataio uses these scopes exclusively to:

• display the connected account's profile and avatar inside the dashboard;
• upload photo carousels as drafts to the organizer's TikTok inbox;
• publish carousels directly on the organizer's TikTok profile (Direct Post), upon explicit request.

The organizer can disconnect the TikTok account at any time from the dashboard, or revoke access directly from their TikTok account settings. In both cases the access tokens are invalidated.

4. Organizer obligations

• Guarantee to be the legitimate owner of the connected TikTok account.
• Make sure published events are real, lawful, and compliant with TikTok community guidelines.
• Not use the Service for spam, deceptive content, or to advertise unlawful activities.
• Respect third-party rights (images, trademarks, copyright) in the published content.

5. Limitation of liability

Cataio is provided "as is". We do not guarantee absence of interruptions or errors. Cataio is not responsible for content published by organizers on their TikTok channels, nor for any sanctions applied by TikTok to the connected accounts for violation of platform policies.

6. Suspension and termination

Cataio reserves the right to suspend or terminate any organizer account in case of breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or upon request from TikTok itself.

7. Personal data processing

Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

8. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The last update date is shown at the top of the page. Continued use of the Service after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The Court of Palermo, Italy, has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
